Infosys has been offering a global internship program called InStep towards overseas university students. The program attracts a mix of students from across disciplines like management, technology, and liberal arts. InStep fosters a multicultural environment, high-impact strategies and cutting-edge research projects. Since its inception in 1999, InStep alumni have grown to 1250. In 2013, 150 talented professionals were hired from 100 top universities for strategic projects.
